Emily Wunderlich has been promoted to editor at Viking.

mauroalaina@gmail.com. Earlier in the year senior editor Laura Fazio left the Patterson BookShots team to work for the app Hooked.

Maggie Sivon has been promoted to head of publicity for Amazon Publishing.

Jeff Kinney, creator of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, has announced that Vanessa Jedrej will join Wimpy Kid in the newly created role of global brand manager, effective June 12. Previously, she was marketing director for Penguin Random House Children's in the UK.

Greystone Books associate publisher Nancy Flight will retire from full-time publishing in October. She has been at Greystone for 24 years and worked in publishing for 45.

The ABA
formally elected the new officers and board members nominated in February. Current vice president Robert Sindelar of Third Place Books will take over as president for a two-year term, and Jamie Fiocco of Flyleaf Books is next in line, serving as vice president/secretary.

Awards
Idra Novey
won the $100,000 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature for her novel, Ways to Disappear.
