Reading stats
The Pew Research Center released their annual study on reading. The two most important things to keep in mind as you review the results -- and/or coverage of the results -- are:
1. This is a telephone survey of 1,520 American adults conducted during one month this spring, No more, no less.
2. Their findings about reading habits have been quite consistent over the past 5 years. The largest change (and biggest potential concern) is that the percentage of adults who say they have read a book in any format over the past year has gone from 79 percent in 2011 to 73 percent in 2016.
