Self-publishers' seminar, 2 July - Don’t just print it, sell it - book markets and methods


Come and join your fellow self-published authors at this seminar about what bookshops look for, when stocking a self-published book. Held during the Booksellers NZ conference, this is a unique chance to meet some booksellers and learn more about the industry you are now part of. 

Learn from experts about the realities of the book market
Find out how to make your book more visible in the marketplace.
Learn about the Nielsen database for books and why it’s so important.
Find out about the steps you need to take to engage booksellers and readers to make  sure that your book
 sells and keeps selling.
Featuring speakers Tony Moores (Manager, Poppies Group), Nevena Nikolic (Marketing Manager, Nielsen
Book NZ), Karen McMillan (PR expert, self-published author), Mary Egan and Sophia Egan-Reid (Egan Reid designers), Stella Chrysostomou (bookseller), and Zee Southcombe (bookseller, self-published author). 

When: Saturday 2 July, 10am - 12 noon
