Swedish Agency Signs Self-Pubbed Picture Book
'The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep,' a self-published picture book by Swedish author Carl-Johan Forssén Ehrlin, has become a sudden international phenomenon by claiming to lull children to sleep in minutes. Stockholm-based Salomonsson Agency has signed the book, and agent Julia Angelin will be shopping the rights. more


'Caps for Sale' Celebrates an Anniversary,
Gains a Sequel

The classic picture book Caps for Sale, written and illustrated by Esphyr Slobodkina, was published 75 years ago. To celebrate this milestone, HarperCollins is publishing a sequel, More Caps for Sale by Ann Marie Mulhearn Sayer, illustrated with art that Slobodkina created before her death in 2002.
