Named after former All Black Brad Thorn, this
stocky British bulldog Thorn spends his weekends at Wainuiomata games, even
wearing the team jersey. He has also got his own home and away gear for the
Hurricanes and he watches them on television whenever they play. You can’t beat
actually being at a game, though, and Thorn knows where he is going as soon as
he spots David getting out his jersey. Then it’s time for Thorn to be put into
his own jersey. A ‘small men’s’ size is just right for him.
Thorn’s just one of the 60 adorable four-legged stars of Penguin Random House’s latest book from Craig Bullock (Quake Dogs). Coming out in August, ahead of Father’s Day, A Dog’s Life celebrates some of our coolest dogs going about their daily lives whether they’re rounding up sheep, flying in a chopper on a search and rescue mission, dolphin spotting for tourists in Banks Peninsula, white water rafting or enjoying a leisurely latte at a favourite café along Ponsonby Road
