An interesting opportunity here! Call for submissions:
The Auckland Latin American Community Inc. (ALAC) plans to publish a book of Maori poetry translated into Spanish.
They believe this is the first time a publisher has attempted to bring Maori poetry to the Spanish-speaking world.
Maori poets are invited to submit unpublished poetry ideally in te reo with an English translation, but English only is ok if that is not possible.
Poems will appear in the book in te reo, English, and Spanish. Deadline for receiving expressions of interest is 30th June.
