Toi Maori Writers Hui

Toi Māori Writers Hui Registrations are open!

Toi Maori Aotearoa is proud to announce after an extended break that they will be hosting once again a National Maori Writers Hui.
This year’s Hui is a chance to meet new members, network, share skills, passions and to showcase Maori writing in all genres. 
Māori writers are called upon from throughout Aotearoa; those published and unpublished, writers in English and Te Reo Māori for a weekend of literary workshops, panel discussions and performances.
Speakers/readers and workshop facilitators includes: Tina Makereti, Hinemoana Baker, Whiti Hereaka, Apirana Taylor, James George, Robert Sullivan, Grace Taylor, Rewa Worley and many more.
WHERE:        Manukau Institute of Technology 
                       Ngā Kete Wānanga Marae
                       Gate 12, NC Block, North Campus, Otara Rd,
                       Manukau, Auckland. 

WHEN:          
Friday 17, October- Sunday 19, October 2014.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1.         Spaces are limited and you must register to secure your place
2.         Toi Māori Writers Hui Registration:  $50.00
A 50% Discount is available to students and community service card holder.
Please provide a copy of your Student ID or community service card by email to crystal@maoriart.org.nz.
3.         Travel to and from 'Toi Māori Writers Hui' will be the participants responsibility.

N.B. TMWH Registration includes Official conference pack, conference name tag, entry to workshops/seminars, Marae accommodation and meals during the duration of the Hui.
