Start celebrating Australia and New Zealand.
Friday 25th April is ANZAC Day, and for many Australian's and New Zealander's around the globe this is a day where we come together to commemorate the fallen and reflect on the changes to our Countries as the result of War. The Festival continues this theme through ANZAC's at War, Farewell Dear People, and goes on to discuss how history is presented in the written form through Historial Writing with Stephanie Johnson, Kate Forsyth, Judy Corbalis, Ashley Hay, and Stories from the Past with Anna Funder and ML Stedman.
The festival is set to be a hive of creativity, with events including film screenings, dance and music. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in some of the most powerful works and brilliant creatives to come from and be inspired by Australia and New Zealand. Be quick to secure your place... always get the best seat with the members queue – first in (not best dressed) for Friends and Supporters so join now! Early bird offers are still available for Day and Weekend passes until 1st May. Events have limited capacity, we recommend that you start securing tickets to avoid disappointment. Not only will you be able to enjoy a weekend of Literature and Art, but you will also be able to soak up the spring sunshine and sip on the finest antipodean wines at our outdoor bar or treat yourself silly at our TUCKSHOP stocked with Tim Tams, Cherry Ripes, Pineapple Lumps and Buzz Bars. We're not quite counting sleeps yet, but it's getting close.
