New high-quality outdoor map series - Great Walks of New Zealand

Craig Potton Publishing have teamed up with Roger Smith at Geographx to produce this amazing set of maps. It is the first time all nine Great Walks has been available in this format. The maps are printed on Rockstock which is manufactured from ground down waste stone and offcuts used in the building industry. It contains no wood fibre, has a low carbon emission, uses significantly less energy to produce than wood fibre paper, generates no effluent in its manufacture (airborne or solid), requires no water, acid, base or bleach during production, is both recyclable and photo-degradable.

Craig Potton Publishing have combined New Zealand’s best map maker with an amazing environmentally friendly product that is tough and designed to withstand the rigour required when being used actively in the outdoors. 

And having been something of a map freak most of my life I must say I am thrilled with this new series. Having walked the Milford Track twice, 20 years apart, I just so wish these maps had been available then.
