Fancy being tooled up with a bow and arrow to protect yourself from bloodthirsty teens, or hiding out in a forest living off berries and mushrooms? Your dream could come true if Lionsgate, the studio behind The Hunger Games movies has its way: its executives are planning to set up theme parks based on the popular teen-action franchise starring Jennifer Lawrence and adapted from Suzanne Collins' novels.

Variety reports that the revelation emerged while Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer was talking to reporters after the studio released its quarterly earnings report. According to Variety, Feltheimer said the studio was considering setting up Hunger Games theme parks in two territories after receiving approaches. This apparently followed an upbeat assessment of Hunger Games-related merchandise, as Lionsgate motion picture group co-chairman Rob Friedman had said studio were "very excited" by the Capitol Couture clothing line – which had orignally started out as a fictitious Tumblr blog as part of the film's promotional activities.
