The October List - Jeffery Deaver
I reviewed this latest (about #30 I think) novel from the prolific Jeffery Deaver on Radio NZ National this morning with Kathryn Ryan. Deaver is of course the creator of the quadraplegic NY cop Lincoln Rhyme but this new one is a stand-alone story and extraordinarily it is a novel in reverse, that is it begins with the book's ending and works its way backwards over a three day weekend from 6.30pm Sunday to 8.20am Friday.
Wonderful, remarkable, compelling, I read it in two long sittings
Crime fiction of the highest calibre.
Hodder & Stoughton - $37.99
