Alice in Wonderland - 10 great meals in literature

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll revolves around eating and drinking. In chapter seven, Alice stumbles on the March Hare and Mad Hatter taking tea and, despite their protestations, she decides to gatecrash their tea party. Little does she know, however, that the Hatter is being punished by Time ever since the Queen of Hearts accused him of "murdering time". As a penance, Time has been eternally fixed at 6 o’clock, forcing the March Hare and Mad Hatter to exist in a state of perpetual tea time.
