Join Iain Sinclair to consider the legacy of The Beats, or reflect on Sylvia Plath with Jackie Kay and Ali Smith. And get writing at workshops where you can respond to works of art or explore the intersection of poetry and medicine. With events like the Manchester Cathedral Poetry Prize evening,  Poets & Players, Young Enigma and the Superheroes of Slam final rounding out the bill, we celebrate the diversity and range of poetry in 2013.     Box office update: These events now sold out  Tickets for the 2013 festival have been booking especially briskly this year.
