On Wednesday, 14 August at 6:00pm, we will be holding a special event in honour of the New Zealand Post Book Awards..





Acclaimed literary biographer, Joanne Drayton (right) will discuss her New Zealand Post Book Festival shortlisted title,

The Search for Anne Perry. Crime writer Anne Perry was publicly outed in Peter Jackson's 1994 film HEAVENLY CREATURES as one of the murderers.

Author Joanne Drayton was subsequently granted unparalleled access to Anne, her friends, relatives, colleagues and archives to complete the book.

The result is a compelling read which provides an understanding of the girl Anne was, the adult she became, and her compulsion to write. This event will be a fascinating glimpse into the mind of Anne Perry.
