Audible has produced the 12-story collection following a deal for world rights, excluding USA, with Random House. The project is supported the Arthur Ransome literary estate.
The audiobooks are narrated by actor Gareth Armstrong, with the first six titles Swallows and Amazons, Swallowdale, Peter Duck, Winter Holiday and Coot Club - now released. The remaining seven titles will be released over the next three months.
Lawrence Howell of Audible said: "Swallows and Amazons is children's storytelling at its finest. We very much hope that families up and down the country will set sail on their own imaginative voyages no dinghy required."
Christina Hardyment of the Arthur Ransome Literary Estate said: "We are very pleased that such a fine narrator will give this marvellous series continuity by reading all twelve titles in unabridged form."
Ransome's novels follow the children of two families in the Lake District between the two World Wars, with the Walker children declaring themselves as explorers and the Blackett children deciding to be pirates.
