White Fungus at Festival Fotograph in Prague

White Fungus will be part of a presentation of magazines of photography and the visual arts at Festival Fotograph in Prague this October. Fotograf Festival follows on from the first edition last year, which had the sub-heading “Photography of the 1980s – Endless Waiting” and included exhibitions in nine galleries around Prague, as well as an international symposium and an accompanying program for both experts and the general public. The second edition of Fotograf Festival, entitled “Off Limits” is concerned with Public Art – namely, art in the public space. Selected artists will focus both on advertising areas (posters, billboards, citylights, etc.) and other means of presentation in the form of public screenings, happenings, performances, installation of artworks in public spaces (banners, panels, display cases) etc. The festival will also commemorate the 10th anniversary of Fotograf magazine, creating a theoretical platform in the shape of several discussions and meetings with eminent figures drawn from both the Czech and international photography scene.
