While I was impressed by the ostentatious display of
books (so many!) in your round up of private libraries, perhaps a corrective
emphasis could go on those libraries that are 'select' in that their owners
know each volume and have even read them? Here, to begin on behalf of the
intimate rather than the massive, is my modest library.
If you invited several other local book lovers to send in
snaps then a more domestic gallery might be posted for Blog viewers?
