What Do NYC Bookstores Have that London's Lack?

City's bookstores and can't help comparing them--
sometimes favorably--to those in London. 
It's likely people will want both print and digital 
cookbooks: cheap e-books to use, but also high quality 
trophy cookbooks to display on the bookshelves.
