SCHOLASTIC NZ CONTINUE PROUD RECORD OF PUBLISHING IN ENGLISH AND MAORI

Scholastic NZ  (then Ashton Scholastic) started publishing children's picture books in English and Maori back in 1989 and have built up a proud record in this field.

Their latest title, Magpie Mischief, (which won the Joy Cowley Award), or in Maori Manu Haututu, , continues their fine tradition. This very funny tale  about Pop (a beloved grandfather) and his pet magpie called Pie by June Peka is based on a true family story. Pop grows prize vegies and Pie just makes mischief. Hilarious.  I loved it.
RRP $17.99
