THE GOD BOY - THE SCARECROW

Ian Richards (based in Japan) has just finished uploading a long essay comparing 'The God Boy', published in 1957, with 'The Scarecrow', published in 1963.  Fans of Ian Cross (pic right) or Ronald Hugh Morrieson might have an interest in knowing why: "if 'The God Boy' has the beauty of a well-made quartet, then 'The Scarecrow' is all jazz."
