Al Brown ‘goes fishing’ in international waters
Al Brown’s phenomenally successful cookbook, Go Fish, published by Random House New Zealand in October 2009, is a finalist in the prestigious International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) 2010 Cookbook Awards.
These international awards are the premier recognition of excellence in cookbook writing and publishing. This year, over 500 cookbooks were entered in the competition.
The winners in each of the sixteen categories, as well as the Cookbook of the Year, will be announced on April 22 at the Awards Gala taking place at IACP’s Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon.
Jenny Hellen, Deputy Publishing Director Random House New Zealand, said that she was “absolutely thrilled that Al Brown had been recognised by the international food community for his brilliant new cookbook, Go Fish.“
Go Fish has sold more than 12,000 copies in five months.
