FIFTY-FIFTY WOMEN

The wonderful Women's Bookshop in Auckland's cool Ponsonby Road is seeking views on establishing the top 50 women writers of the past 50 years (since 1960).

Voting forms are available at the Women's Bookshop or you can simply e-mail them your top ten author, and title of book, (you can choose fewer than ten, nominations will be pooled and the fifty authors and thier titles receiving most votes overall will be ranked): books@womensbookshop.co.nz

All entrants will go in a draw to win one of fifty books and more book prizes are promised when the Fifty-Fifty List is announced at the FIFTY-FIFTY WINNING WOMEN PARTY to be held at the Women's Bookshop on Friday 9 April, 6-8.00pm.
Footnote:
The Bookman has cast his vote, found it very difficult to reduce it to ten, really wanted to vote for about 30!
