ERAGON'S GUIDE TO ALAGAESIA
Christopher Paolini
Random House - $54.99
This lavish hardback full-colour extravaganza is an exploration deep into the world of Alagaesia, as told by Eragon himself, hero of ERAGON, ELDEST and BRISINGR , the best-selling Inheritance cycle.
Alagaƫsia comes alive in a lush and detailed look at an unforgettable magical land. Find out much more about its elves, urgals, and dragons, its natural landscape and the magic it contains, and the history of Alagaesia itself. Contains fold-out booklets of information, jewels and engaging novelty elements.
The book is earmarked at a teenage read for 12+ but I had lots of fun opening all the pockets and pulling apart all the bits so I think younger kids, 10 & 11 year olds, could have fun with it also. It is pricey but will make a great Christmas gift for a family.
