TWO MOST TIMELY TITLES FROM WILEY PUBLISHING

TWITTER FOR DUMMIES
Laura Fitton, Michael Gruen & Leslie Poston
Wiley Publishing - NZ$42.99 – Aust$37.95
Twitter for Dummies covers the basics of using Twitter along with the strategies of getting better business, marketing and communications results from the service.
Topics include:
The basics of signing up and creating tweets
Following users and adding followers to your own tweets
Establishing a voice on Twitter
Mastering the tools that tie Twitter to many other Web applications, including mobile.
Strategies for enhancing business communication and networking opportunities with Twitter.
How to Twitter wherever you are.
A glossary of Twitter terms and abbreviations.

Another certain best-seller in this long-running, highly regarded, best-selling series.

TWITTER – Tips, Tricks and Tweets
Paul McFedries
Wiley Publishing – NZ$37.99 – Aust$32.95

The book targets the millions of users getting into Twitter to connect friends, family, and interest groups. Coverage on how to establish a Twitter account, tweet from mobile devices, and how to add Twitter to a blog is approached in a user-friendly manner so anyone can apply the tips and techniques described in this book.
There is quite a lot of duplication in content between these two titles and if I had to choose between them I would opt for this one, slightly smaller, more interesting interior format, colour throughout, and for me anyway easier to follow..
