More digitised books from the Early New Zealand Books Project
http://www.enzb.auckland.ac.nz/

The Early New Zealand Books Project aims to provide the keyword-searchable text of books about New Zealand published in the first two-thirds of the nineteenth century. It also includes texts of journals and letters from this period, and subsequently published reminiscences of people active in this period.
There are now 104 titles (122 volumes) in the collection.

The books are keyword searchable, individually or as a collection, with keyword-in-context displays of hit terms at three different levels of inclusiveness. Searches can be limited to words and phrases in picture captions and chapter summaries, if desired. A list of variant spellings of personal and place names and other words is searched concurrently.
Illustrations are available at original size and double size (click on the image) for viewing detail. There are links to images of all the original pages.
Cataloguing records for books in the collection are available from Te Puna. MARC records (UTF-8) are also available for download as a zip file from a link on the ENZB home page.
The project uses b-engine software to convert TEI-compatible xml files to html for web display.
