A reminder that applications for our annual Writer in Residence position close in a week's time, on September 30.
The appointment will be for twelve months from 1 February 2009 to 31 January 2010, with a salary of NZ$50,000. The writer has an office in the IIML's Glenn Schaeffer House.
Writers in all areas of literary activity, including drama, fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction, are eligible to apply. Applicants should be writers of proven merit normally resident in New Zealand or New Zealanders currently resident overseas.
The residency is jointly supported by Creative New Zealand and Victoria University.
