Lloyd Jones will be a special guest speaker at the Centre for New Zealand Studies on Thursday 22 May .

The Centre is delighted to be hosting this special event at which Lloyd Jones will read from and discuss his work.

Lloyd is the author of Mister Pip, which won the Montana New Zealand Book Award for Best Fiction in 2007, the Commonwealth Writers Prize in 2007, and was short-listed for the Man Booker Prize. He is the author of Gilmore’s Dairy (1985), Swimming to Australia (1991), This House Has Three Walls (1997), Choo Woo (1998), The Book of Fame (2000, which won the Deutz Medal for Fiction at the 2001 Montana Book Awards), Here at the End of the World we Learn to Dance (2002), and Paint Your Wife (2004).

Lloyd will be signing copies of his books at the end of the event.
The event is open to everyone, but we advise that you arrive early to guarantee a seat.
