Goodness, this man needs serious psychoanalysis! I'm glad he feels the need to have an opinion about literature and ideas but surely there's enough to comment on without having to hide the fact one hasn't read a particular book or theorist. Here we are in a country where we apparently buy more books per head than most others and we are quite happy to say "sorry mate, haven't read that [yet]."
