BANGKOK HAUNTS John Burdett Knopf US$24.95

As we are going to Thailand for brief stopover on the way home I must see if WH Smith here in Paris have this new detective novel. It would seem appropriate to be reading it there.

This review in today's New York Times. Sounds like a must-read to me.
