WILL HUTTON ON CHINA

Distinguished British journalist Will Hutton was in Auckland last week for the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival but sadly I couldn't get to his session so I was delighted to find that Chris Barton had interviewed him in the Weekend Herald yesterday.

Hutton's book, The Writing on the Wall, China & the West in the 21st Century has quickly become required reading for al interested in China.

Barton's interview is worth a read.
