HALF OF A YELLOW SUN WINS ORANGE BROADBAND PRIZE

Author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie wins the prize against very tough competition.

Half of a Yellow Sun is her second novel, her first Purple Hibiscus was shortlisted for the Orange Prize in 2004 and won the Commonwealth Writers Best First Book Award.


The author has her own website. As does the winning title which was published by Fourth Estate in the UK and Knopf in the US.
