Most interesting book: Jenn...I'll play Graham.<br /><br />Most interesting book: Jenny Erpenbeck's *Visitation'. Just a little book, but one that stays in the mind for a long time, and well worth the read, therefore (in translation from German).<br /><br />Most disappointing book: Paul Beatty's *The Sellout*. Started out great, I loved it, but somehow switched me off halfway through. I think satire is better short.<br /><br />Biggest chore: Hanya Yanagihara's *A Little Life*. Too dark, too overboard, too long.<br /><br /><br />Another good year on your blog, Graham.
