Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Sales of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child playscript (Little, Brown) have been “incredible” according to Waterstones, while Foyles deemed it “the fastest-selling book we’ve ever sold” after fans flocked to midnight openings around the country.

Central London was once again full of wizards, Harrys, Hagrids and Hermiones as Waterstones Piccadilly and Foyles on Charing Cross Road held extravagant parties to celebrate Little, Brown’s publication of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – surely already the fastest selling play script of all time.

Sunday Times literary editor Andrew Holgate has reignited the debate about the recent eligibility rule changes for the Man Booker Prize, saying that making US authors eligible for the Man Booker - which unlike some critics of the move he had been "excited" about when it was first mooted -  has turned out to be "disastrous" for the health of the prize.
