Special books - Gift idea?

The Printer in Residence programme at the University of Otago has been running since 2003, and in most cases we sell out of the 100 copies only hand-printed publications.

However, we have a few copies left of:

2014: Peter Vangioni’s hand-printed edition of Michael Morley’s XXXXXwords, 9 lyrics and 5 images by this artist/experimental musician based in Port Chalmers. Cost: $140.00 (incl gst)

2013: John Holmes/Tara McLeod/Rob Lamb’s suite of 8 colourful creative posters of quotes/poems by New Zealand writers/poets: Jenny Bornholdt, Riemke Ensing, Charlotte Grimshaw, Bernadette Hall, Fiona Kidman, Elizabeth Knox, Cilla McQueen, and Emma Neale. Cost: $200.00 (incl gst).

2012: Distractions by Kevin Cunningham (1945-2002), edited and introduced by Bill Manhire. This work was printed by John Holmes. Loosely tipped in the volume is an image of Cunningham by Joanna Paul, and poems on Cunningham by Manhire and Alan Roddick. Cost: $90.00 (incl gst).

2011: Skew-Whiff by poet Peter Olds, illustrated by Kathryn Madill, printed by John Denny. Colourful. Inventive. Cost: $250.00 (incl GST).
