From the Facebook page Waterfront Books, Georgetown, S.C.: "Thanks to Mimi Beaver, Book Store Dog has again taken her place in our book store. Mimi captured her spirit as well as her likeness in a very realistic portrait--her eyes follow you with a slightly critical cast.
The real 'BD' has a different routine since the fire and remains at home most of the day except for the two hours we walk hunting for goodies. BD, who will be 15 this August, just got a clean bill of health from the vet and is doing amazingly well for her vintage.
Although BD is at home, it's very nice to have her presence and watchful eye with us while we work."
