Jane Fonda Reveals She's Writing a Novel Called 'Amanda's Secrets'

The Hollywood Reporter

"Writing a novel scares me," the Oscar winner tells THR. "So I thought, well, I'm going to do it."

Jane Fonda is adding "novelist" to her résumé.
The actress, political activist and philanthropist revealed to The Hollywood Reporter in Cannes that she's writing a novel called Amanda's Secrets.

"Writing a novel scares me," Fonda said during a sit-down interview at the Martinez Hotel. "I've never done it, so I thought, 'Well, I'm going to do it.'"

Still, Fonda is no stranger to writing: She already has published two best-selling memoirs, 2005's My Life So Far and 2011's Prime Time.
However, Fonda declined to divulge more details, so it's unclear whether she is already working with a publisher or if the novel has a release date.
She added, with a grin: "I'm not going to tell you what [the novel is] about."
