An hour in the company Alexander McCall Smith is an hour of sheer delight. This master storyteller, author of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, will take you on a journey between Scotland, Botswana, the UK and the Australian outback with a great deal of good cheer along the way. He will also introduce his new, standalone novel, The Forever Girl. Alexander will be introduced by Kate Evans.

ELIZABETH GILBERT: THE SIGNATURE OF ALL THINGS

The bestselling author of Eat, Pray, Love Elizabeth Gilbert will reveal the 'big magic' of creativity – the mysteries, tricks and delights of inspiration. Elizabeth will tell us how she came to write her acclaimed new novel, The Signature of All Things and will be introduced by Rayya Elias, author of the post-punk New York memoir, Harley Loco.
