NZ educational publisher launches trade imprint

Clean Slate Press has traditionally been an educational publisher, both for the New Zealand and international markets. Recently though they launched a new trade imprint with the publication of Wishy-Washy World by Joy Cowley, and Catching Fish and My Dad's a Dragon Catcher by performance storyteller Tanya Batt.

Catching Fish by Tanya Batt, illustrated by Natalia Vasquez
When Jake loses the five red fish off his favourite shirt, he finds them in the sky, ducking and diving in and out of the clouds. Jake can’t catch his fish with a crooked copper nail, or tempt them down with food, or grab them in his hands. Then Jake learns the magical power of words.
