The annual award celebrates the best science fiction novel of the year, selected from novels published in the UK in previous year. The winner of the £2010 award will be announced on 28th April at an awards ceremony held on the opening night of the Sci-Fi London Film Festival.

Galileo's Dream - Kim Stanley Robinson (HarperCollins)
Far North - Marcel Theroux (Faber & Faber)
Retribution Falls - Chris Wooding (Gollancz)
