HARRY POTTER HAS LIMITED EFFECT ON READING HABITS

I find hard to believe this story from the New York Times today. I have seen loads of evidence of kids reading Harry Potter who couldn't previously be persuaded to read. I will be interested in the views of some of my teacher and librarian friends.
